Weekend is here!!

Phil Chinkhokwe

Before I go, I have to share with you, MyFriday!

Still working around the 2015 big task, designing and setting up the Farmers Call Centre at Farm Radio Trust, its getting me busy I must admit, but it's interesting, it's a nice challenge, it is that part of it why I was hired, not to prove myself, but to work, and achieve. So, I spent MyFriday studying and writing, had many clicks on Google search.

So it was a busy day for me and my head.

Still more, new things came along, challenges, puzzles and surprises; but I avoided confusions. You know I work around innovations, my job involves innovative thinking. So I make a little surprises sometimes in the right direction. But some people still surprises me, especially because of their good thinking, they have good ideas, they are trend setters.

My boss has changed the name of a radio show which will be coming every month end on most radio stations we work with. At first he suggested the Farmers Hour, it was a better suit however the new name is more thought provoking, 'RadioCombo' you see, what do you think about it? Am yet to hear from him again next week. We were a distant apart this week, he was out somewhere in Africa. Africa! Its where ideas come from and innovated somewhere in the world and brought back to Africa to surprise us. I love travelling, you learn, you explore, and you understand things, not just that, you generate ideas and share.

Weekend is here! fun packed, you don't buy fun, we make it. I have a few things to work on more professionally on Saturday. Some three hour classes in the morning. I love learning. But my task will be for another two hours later, working on NkhawaNjee YonseBo Life z Kool. This project is in the final phase, we use participatory radio to engage youth in mental health awareness.  Youth listen to radio broadcasts and attend conferences and forums to learn more about mental health. The use of modern ICTs and Social Media helps us reach many youth in an interactive way. Read more about this project here

Oh! I don't have to forget this, the English Premier League, I will have to watch my favorite team.
